January 13, 2021: All Parents - One Confirmed Case at the High School

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Today, January 13, 2021, the District was informed of one confirmed COVID case at the High School.  Those who may have been considered a reportable close contact of this positive case have been contacted and instructed to take precautions per DOH guidance.  At this time, in-person Traditional Learning at all District educational buildings will remain open. 

As a reminder, please continue to closely monitor your child’s health and seek medical attention if any symptoms arise that are new and/or not explained by another reason, such as:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If your child is exhibiting symptoms or is in the process of being tested for COVID-19, please keep him/her home and inform us immediately by contacting the building principal or the school nurse. For more information on COVID-19, please visit the CDC’s website at cdc.gov.
