SGI Music Students Perform in Washington D.C.

Spring Grove Area Intermediate students in the Jazz Band and sixth grade Orchestra students had an eventful field trip to Washington, D.C., in April. The Jazz Band and the Orchestra performed at the National Sylvian Theater on the Washington Mall, they learned about pop music while eating lunch at the Hard Rock Café, and rehearsed and performed with members of the Air Force Strings and Airmen of Note.

The field trip provided a unique opportunity for the music students to perform and learn from world-class musicians.
