SGAMS Family and Consumer Science Students Make Quilt to Donate to Leg Up Farm

During the 2019-2020 school year, Middle School students in the Family and Consumer Science Class and teacher, Ms. Lyn Greco, completed a beautiful quilt that was recently donated to Leg Up Farm in York. Over the last several years, students in Ms. Greco's classes have donated several quilts to worthy organizations in our community.

COVID-19 delayed the donation of the quilt for the year, but Ms. Ruth Benner and Ms. Greco were determined to see the project through. They were finally able to make the donation and present the quilt to Maureen Musselman at leg Up Farm at the end of this May. The quilt will be used by Leg Up Farm to help raise money to assist in the physical therapy treatments the organization provides to children under 21 years of age.
