This past October, Dynamic Discs partnered with Elliot Zettas for the Pitch for Pins contest to giveaway 18 disc golf Veteran Baskets. A team of students, led by Brylan Anderson, has been diligently working on designing and planning a disc golf course that will be situated on the Spring Grove Area School District main campus. The disc golf course will be a great addition to the campus for our students and the community. The students have been working on every detail and have even partnered with local professionals to find the perfect course setup.
Out of over forty contest entries, the Spring Grove students were named in the top five and selected to move ahead in the public voting portion of the contest. The poll to vote was open for a week, and they received over 3,400 votes.
The team of Spring Grove students came in second place by only 36 votes! Dynamic Discs was so impressed by their student-produced pitch that they decided to allocate funds from the $5K/10K Grow Disc Golf Ace Challenge to award the Spring Grove team with the 18 Patriot Baskets. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and help make this happen!
SGASD is incredibly proud of our students, and looks forward to the new disc golf course in our community!
