SGAHS Students Selected as Part of the 2020 NAfME All National Honors Modern Band Ensemble

Brendan Livelsberger and Peyton Rohrbaugh

Brendan Livelsberger and Peyton Rohrbaugh were selected to be part of the 2020 NAfME All-National Honors Ensembles as part of the Modern Band Ensemble. Brendan and Peyton were one of three students selected on their respective instruments (Brendan on drumset and Peyton on guitar) from across the nation to be part of the festival.

They are both considered a Top 3 High School Rock/Pop Player in the U.S. on their instrument. In addition, Spring Grove took 2 of the 16 available slots in the ensemble. This honor is considered greater than a student making the PMEA All-State music festival.

Spring Grove has placed students in the All-National Ensemble four times prior to this year. Brendan has been selected for the second year in a row and is Spring Grove’s first two-time member of an All-National ensemble. This is also the first time Spring Grove had two students selected for the All-National festival in the same year. Unfortunately, NAfME has decided to cancel the festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this does not take away from their amazing accomplishment.

Congratulations, Brendan and Peyton!
