SGASD Celebrates High Academic Performance

SGASD Celebrates High Academic Performance

At the January 13th Board Meeting, Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Grove, shared the results and key information from the 2018-2019 school year state assessments. The District assessment scores continue to show strong results as we continue to focus on both academic achievement and academic growth for all of our students. The District Leadership Team continues to work with staff to determine strengths and needs in content areas/grade levels. A team from each building creates plans to promote continuous achievement and growth for ALL students while considering their social-emotional needs in keeping with the District mission to focus on educating the whole child.

The State Assessments are the means in which the District is measured publicly. However, in Spring Grove, we believe that students are more than test scores. We will continue to focus on the "whole student" and meeting their social-emotional needs, fostering their talents, and providing opportunities for them to "Learn Without Limits".

We have a lot to celebrate at Spring Grove Area School District. Below are the highlights from the 2018-2019 PSSA and Keystone State Assessments.
