Brendan Livelsberger Selected to be a Part of the Inaugural NAfME All National Modern Band Ensemble

Brendan Livelsberger

Brendan Livelsberger, an 11th grade student at Spring Grove Area High School, has been selected to be a part of the inaugural NAfME All National Modern Band Ensemble. He was one of three drum set players selected from across the United States.  Brendan will be playing in the Modern Band Ensemble with the best high school guitarists, bass players, keyboardists, drummers, and lead vocalists in the nation.

Not only was Brendan selected to be part of the ensemble, but he also earned a scholarship through the Little Kids Rock Foundation to pay for his festival fee. Brendan will be traveling to Orlando, Florida in November and his concert will take place during the NAfME National Conference on Saturday, November 9th.

Brendan is only the 4th student in Spring Grove history to qualify for an all national ensemble, and the first instrumentalist to do so. If you would like to view his audition (his performance of Toto’s “Rosanna”), you can do so at the following YouTube link:

Congratulations, Brendan!
