Mindy O'Brien presents Dr. Guadagnino with the William E. Caldwell Award for Excellence in Administration and Supervision

Dr. Steven Guadagnino, Spring Grove Area Middle School (SGAMS) Principal, was awarded the 2019 Pennsylvania School Study Council (PSSC) William E. Caldwell Award for Excellence in Administration and Supervision. He was nominated by Ms. Mindy O’Brien and presented with his award at a recent board meeting.

Dr. Guadagnino has served the Spring Grove Area School District for almost 15 years.  Ms. O’Brien, SGAMS Assistant Principal, stated, “Dr. Guadagnino has been an invaluable resource to the District and to me personally as a mentor. He is always willing to be a sounding board for his staff and others in the District. He continues to put students’ needs first when addressing programming, scheduling, procedures, and curriculum.”

Nominations for the William E. Caldwell Award are considered based on a diversity of accomplishments as well as the obvious contribution to the broad field of administration and supervision. Years of administrative service and level of education are also considered.

Congratulations, Dr. Guadagnino! 🚀
