Incoming sophomore, Mark "Dieter" Luta, completed the Tunnel2Towers New York City Tower Climb on Sunday, June 2nd. Dieter climbed the 104 floors and 2,226 steps of the World Trade Center Freedom Tower for the third year in a row, raising $545 for the Foundation.

Dieter finished the climb in 20 minutes and 33 seconds, taking 2nd place in the 13-19 year old age group and 49th out of all 737 climbers (which included many elite climbers from around the world.)

Dieter does the climb every year with his dad, who is full-time firefighter and combat veteran. The event celebrates the life and sacrifice of all 9/11 heroes, including FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller and FDNY Captain Billy Burke.
