Two teams from Paradise Elementary participated in 2019 Envirothon for 3rd and 4th Grades on Tuesday, May 7, and won the GOLD!

The York County Envirothon, organized by the York County Conservation District, is a comprehensive, multi-media, interdisciplinary environmental education experience.  Through study materials provided, students gain knowledge of the earth’s ecological systems and environmental concepts and develop skills to recognize and resolve human impacts on the environment.  Every year, hundreds of York County students in grades 3-12 attend the competitions held at Rudy County Park.  Students compete in a team format within their own grade levels and are tested on their knowledge of aquatics, forestry, soils and wildlife.

Congratulations students!
