This spring, two Spring Grove Area School District (SGASD) programs were recognized by the Shippensburg University School Study Council (SUSSC) as being Exemplary Programs. The SUSSC Exemplary Program honors projects that have outstanding curriculum innovation. This year, the SGASD Diversity Festival and Spring Grove Elementary Friendship Night were nominated and chosen as Exemplary Programs.
District staff from each project attended the 2019 Exemplary Program Presentations & Recognition Lunch at Shippensburg University. Staff from the High School and Spring Grove Elementary organized tables to display information about the innovative programs and presented to the fellow school districts.
Thank you to Kathy Eshbach and Joseph Intrieri for leading these great programs that highlight inclusiveness, celebrate culture, and bring the Spring Grove community together.
