February 9, 2023: Important Update

Dear Rocket Families, 

After school dismissal today, February 9, 2023, a high school student was found in possession of a knife on a school bus carrying high school and middle school students. The bus was immediately rerouted to the middle school, where our school resource officer safely addressed the situation.  

 Student safety is our number one priority. We are grateful for the swift action of our school bus driver and school resource officer.  

We kindly ask that you continue to partner with us in creating a safe environment for all students by reinforcing with your children that weapons, including pocketknives, toys, and look-alikes, are not permitted in our schools or on school buses/vans.
