August 25, 2021: A Message from the Nutrition Services Department
Dear Rocket Families,
Many food manufacturers and distributors across the nation are experiencing supply chain shortages, an insufficient labor force, and transportation challenges causing difficulty nationwide in securing food for school meals. The Spring Grove Area School District Nutrition Services Department is experiencing an increase in unavailable items, partially filled food orders, and/or last-minute delivery cancelations because of the supply chain crisis.
Unfortunately, due to these unprecedented difficulties, our school menus are subject to change with little or no notice. We will do our best to notify you in advance of any changes to the menus via the announcements section of the school meal menus webpage linked HERE.
Our goal remains the same: to serve nutritious and delicious meals to all students every day.
We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these challenges.
