August 25, 2021: Thank You & School Reminders

Dear Rocket Families,

As I send this message, we are in the process of completing day six of our new school year! It is exciting to see students in our buildings filling our hallways and classrooms with joy, laughter, and the eagerness to learn. I would like to take this moment to thank each of you for your support in helping us successfully start the new school year. The District's partnership with our families and our community is what makes the Spring Grove Area School District special.

I would be remiss if I did not take this opportunity to share a couple of reminders. It is our goal for our students and staff to have a healthy and safe school year, to keep our school buildings open for learning, and for the District to remain in full operation. With this in mind, I would like to emphasize that we highly encourage everyone, including students, staff, families, and other visitors, to wear a face covering while in our school buildings. We also remind everyone that face masks are expected to be worn on school buses and vans. We have posted this information, as well as a few other parent/guardian frequently asked questions regarding COVID-19 for this school year on our website  HERE

Your willingness to help us reach our mission of providing a safe and engaging learning environment is truly appreciated. I look forward to seeing everyone at the remaining back-to-school nights, and at our upcoming athletic and musical events.

Sincerely,

Dr. George W. Ioannidis
Superintendent
