The purpose of branding is to attach meaning to the District’s visual elements through unified messaging and consistency.

SGASD Logo

The SGASD’s logo is the official trademark of the District. Permission must be obtained to use the logo outside of official district publications.

Media Relations

Per School Board Policy 911, all media requests and inquiries must be directed to the Communications and Marketing Manager. Students and staff may not be interviewed or photographed without permission.

Privacy

This is the website of Spring Grove Area School District.

Information Collected on Our Website

For each visitor to our website, our web server automatically recognizes only the visitor's IP address, but not their e-mail address. We collect only the e-mail addresses and names of those who communicate with us via e-mail, along with any information volunteered by the visitor on our general feedback form.

We collect aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit. This data is stored in the web logs residing on our server.

The information we collect is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes and not released or used by anyone other than school board authorized individuals or companies, except where required by Pennsylvania Public Record Laws.

We do not set any cookies on our public site. We do set cookies on our web portal.

Mailing Lists

If you have signed up on one of our mailing lists and decide you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending us an e-mail at the above address or clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any mailing list email message you have received. The link will take you to a form on our website that will ask you to confirm the removal of the address of the message that was sent.

Ad Servers

We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. 

Security

We always use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving visitor data exchanged with our site. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

In the future, should we decide to use visitor information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice, or if our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes on our website to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt-out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back on our website periodically.
