    The mission of the Spring Grove Area School District, in partnership with families, businesses, and community organizations, is to provide a safe and engaging learning environment that will challenge and motivate all students to demonstrate continual growth on assessments and to attain their full potential while preparing for the future.

    Supported by dedicated staff, students, parents, and community, the Spring Grove Area School District is committed to pursuing excellence in education. By setting clear and measurable goals, analyzing data for informed decisions, employing best practices, engaging in effective communication, participating as a community of learners, and utilizing resources and technology wisely, we can create an academic environment in which all students can achieve their full potential.

  • LOCATION
     
    map The Spring Grove Area School District is located in south-central Pennsylvania in York County. The school district encompasses about 90 square miles and includes Heidelberg, Jackson, Codorus, North Codorus, and Paradise townships, as well as the boroughs of Jefferson, New Salem, Seven Valleys, and Spring Grove. The area is primarily residential/rural.

    The District currently operates three elementary schools (K-4), an intermediate school (5-6), a middle school (7-8) and a high school (9-12). 

    The Roth's Church Road Campus, on the outskirts of Spring Grove Borough, houses one elementary school, the intermediate school, and the high school, as well as the District’s stadium and other outdoor facilities. The District's Technology Center is also located on that campus.

    Most district administrative services are housed in the Educational Service Center building. 
     
    The overall physical plant includes an indoor swimming pool, an indoor and an outdoor track, various ball fields, as well as lighted tennis courts.
