    A REMINDER FOR KINDERGARTEN PARENTS

A parent, guardian or secondary student MUST accommodate your son/daughter to and from the bus stop. Any individuals to whom you have permitted to get your student off the bus must be listed as an emergency contact and notified of this policy. Please contact Transportation with any additional changes.

    BUS ASSIGNMENTS

All bus assignments were included in your back-to-school letter mailed August 2, 2018. Please allow at least 5 days for delivery.
All requests for new stops or changes must be sent to the Transportation Department in writing. Send via e-mail: stinel@sgasd.org

    BUS ASSIGNMENT PROCEDURE
    • No bus changes will be made 10 days before or 10 days after school starts.
    • In the interest of safety and overcrowding of buses, we can only allow students to be assigned to one AM bus and one PM bus for the duration of the school year. This does NOT pertain to pre-arranged babysitter or custody arrangements.
    • There is an exception for students who relocate within the District from one home to another. In this instance, they would be assigned a new stop based on their new address.
    • Temporary (one-time) bus passes will only be allowed in the instance of an extreme emergency and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Contact must be made directly to the Transportation Office @ 225-4731 ext. 3024 or via email.

Any questions please contact the Transportation Department at 717-225-4731 ext. 3024 or via email.
