Hello!
Welcome to my webpage, the Spring Grove Area High School (SGAHS), and ninth or eleventh grade English. My name is Ms. Amanda Grant, and this is my fourteenth year at SGAHS. I am very excited to work with you this school year!
About Me: I graduated from Gettysburg High School in 2000, Harrisburg Area Community College in 2007, and Wilson College in 2009. I am currently taking courses at Millersville University in pursuit of my Master of Arts in English. I love teaching here at Spring Grove High School, and I am so excited to be working with your teen. Here at school I am the SGAHS freshmen class advisor and English Language Arts Curriculum Leader for 9-12 grades. Over the last year, my husband, children, and I began running the family farm.
To the Students: Just in case you forget your homework, are home sick and want to keep up with what we are doing in class, or are trying to remember a useful resource for an assignment, these items will be posted in Schoology.
To the Parents: Throughout the year I will send newsletters and information via email or contact you by phone. Please be sure to keep your contact information updated with the school in order to stay informed. Also, please reach out with any questions!
To All: At any point if you have any questions and you feel like this . . .
please do not hesitate to call (717) 225-4731, ext. 7304 or email me at granta@sgasd.org to discuss your questions, challenges, or comments (in order to help you to feel like this).
