Two Rockets Make Record-Breaking Achievements in the Pool
Spring Grove Area High School’s athletes are making waves—and history—in the pool and diving board this season! On December 12, 2024, against Dover Area High School, two Rockets achieved record-breaking performances:
- Kaliyah Hinson broke the SGAHS Record in the 100 Backstroke with an impressive time of 57.92, surpassing Ashley Rauhauser's 2023 record of 58.60.
- Kaliyah also dominated at the Dover Area High School pool, setting records in the:
- 200 IM: 2:11.02
- 100 Free: 54.75
- Elijah Henning broke the SGAHS Diving Record with a score of 269.10, breaking Kevin March’s 1986 record of 266.60—ending a 38-year streak.
