SGASD School Director Douglas Stein Recognized for 31 Years of Service
Spring Grove Area School District proudly celebrates Mr. Douglas Stein, who was honored for his 31 years of dedicated service as a School Director at the York County Alliance for Learning (YCAL) School Directors Dinner. The event, sponsored by Saxton & Stump, recognized the commitment and leadership of school board members across York County.
YCAL is a nonprofit organization that connects students, educators, and businesses to provide career readiness opportunities, bridging the gap between education and the workforce. Through partnerships with local employers and schools, YCAL offers programs such as career exploration events, mentorship initiatives, and workforce development resources to help students prepare for their futures.
SGASD was proudly represented at the dinner by Dr. Joe Bradley, Superintendent; Chris Fake, SGAHS School Counselor and YCAL Board Member; and Betty Stein, Mr. Stein’s wife, who joined in celebrating this well-deserved recognition.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Stein for his decades of service, leadership, and dedication to our students, staff, and community. His impact on SGASD has been profound, and we thank YCAL for recognizing his commitment to education.
