SGAMS Students Explore Recycling and Vermicomposting

SGAMS seventh-grade students recently learned about recycling and vermicomposting with MS. Denise Feltenberger from the York Solid Waste Authority.

Students learned about the composting process and put their knowledge into practice by creating their own compost bins. The hands-on experience gave students an opportunity to explore sustainability and see how simple choices can make a difference in their community and the world around them.
