SGAHS Students Shine at PMEA Region V Chorus Festival
Two Spring Grove Area High School students, Lucas Buhrman and Bryan Myers, recently showcased their vocal talents at the PMEA Region V Chorus Festival. This prestigious event brings together top high school singers from 15 counties across Pennsylvania for a weekend of intense rehearsals, reauditions, and a culminating concert.
After an impressive performance, Lucas Buhrman maintained his #1 ranking in the Bass II section, securing his spot in the PMEA All-State Chorus, which will take place this April in the Poconos.
Fun fact: This marks a remarkable achievement for Lucas, as he has now qualified for PMEA All-State three consecutive years in three different vocal ensembles: Vocal Jazz, Contemporary A Cappella Ensemble, and Chorus.
