SGAHS Girls Soccer Teacher Appreciation Night

SGAHS Girls Soccer Teacher Appreciation Night

Seniors on the Girls Soccer team expressed their sincere gratitude to the teachers who have had the greatest influence on their lives. These educators have not only guided their academic paths but have also served as mentors and companions throughout their journey.

It's truly heartwarming to see our students recognize and honor the dedication, support, and inspiration that our teachers provide every day.

A heartfelt thank you to our Girls Soccer team for their thoughtful display of appreciation! Teachers, your impact extends well beyond the confines of the classroom, and we are deeply grateful for all that you contribute.

Mia German Honors Mr. Jason Baker, Social Studies Teacher at Spring Grove Area High School

"I have had Mr. Baker as a teacher for all four years of high school. Mr. Baker can always make a bad day a good one by just being himself. He is a very generous teacher that does so much for his students. He creates so many fun field trips throughout the year and they never disappoint. I’ve made some of the best memories in high school during Mr. Baker’s field trips. Mr. Baker always has candy, but the best things about him is that he always believes in you and can always put a smile on my face. Thank you Mr. Baker for truly being the best teacher anyone could ever ask for, your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed."

Lauren Hess Honors Ms. Tufano, Family and Consumer Science Teacher at Spring Grove Area High School

“Mrs. Tufano has always been there for me and my friends, whether that was just hanging out, listening to us, or even dealing with our shenanigans. I can definitely say I'm glad that I took her class, because she has helped me through these last two years of high school and I couldn't be more thankful for her kindness and how she opened her classroom up to us. When most teachers would tell us to leave them alone, which we probably deserve, she opened her doors to our craziness, willingly might I add. She has become a safe spot for me, and I couldn't be more thankful. So thank you for being you and creating such a space for us, you are truly appreciated! P.S. I hope you always and forever have a good after morning!”

Mady Little Honors Mr. Tony Miller, Physical Education / Wellness Teacher at Spring Grove Area High School

“Throughout my high school career, Mr. Miller has been a very inspirational teacher that I have been lucky to connect with. Not only has he been my teacher but also my coach and club advisor. Being with Mr. Miller all of these years has been the greatest blessing I could ask for. He has inspired and helped to shape me into the person I am today. Mr Miller is one of the most selfless humans I know, when you come to him with a problem he will help you tackle it head on. He always sees the best in people and encourages them to be the best version of themselves whether it’s in the weight room, in sports, in the classroom, or pushing them out of their comfort zone to do something he believes they are capable of accomplishing. I am one of these people that he has impacted and from which has helped me become the person I am today! I couldn’t ask for a better role model and will be forever grateful for the relationship we have.”

Lizzy Yohe Honors Mr. Tony Miller, Physical Education / Wellness Teacher at Spring Grove Area High School

“Mr. Miller isn’t just a coach.. He is a coach, a teacher, a mentor, a therapist, and a friend. He does all he can for his students and his athletes, and makes sure that he gives his best for each and every one of them. Mr Miller is easy to talk to about pretty much anything. He will ask you how your day or weekend was, and keep a conversation with you even when he’s busy. I can’t say I’ve had any other teacher that I can go up to and tell them that I’m having a bad day except for Mr. Miller. He coached my dad, myself, and my sister, and I can’t thank him enough for taking part in helping me be the person I am today and how much he changed my life as a student and athlete. Thank you, Mr Miller for just being you and helping me every chance you had.”

Thank you to our teachers for inspiring these young minds!
