Odyssey of the Mind Teams Shine at Regional Tournament

Spring Grove Area School District’s Odyssey of the Mind teams put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test this past weekend at the East Central Pennsylvania Regional Tournament hosted by Millersville University. Their hard work paid off with strong finishes across multiple divisions, and three teams are now advancing to the State competition.

The High School team took first place in Problem Five, Taller Tales of John Jivery, Division III.

The Middle School Team 1 also placed first in Problem One, Off the Rails.

The Middle School Team 4 delivered an impressive performance in Problem Four, Life is a Ball, finishing in second. All three teams will compete at the State Finals on March 28 in the Poconos.

Odyssey of the Mind is an international program that challenges students to solve complex problems using creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. Teams work together for months to develop innovative solutions and present their ideas in a competitive setting.

Congratulations to all of our Odyssey of the Mind students on their achievements, and best of luck in the State Finals!
