Nine SGASD Students Attend Octavators Choral Festival
Our talented Spring Grove singers participated in another remarkable choral festival alongside students from 20 area schools! This week, nine of our singers attended the Octavators Choral Festival, hosted by West Shore School District.
With approximately 160 young men participating, the festival focused on helping singers find their voice, fostering confidence, and inspiring lifelong musical passion. Under the guidance of guest director Matt Topping and members of the internationally recognized Parkside Harmony barbershop choir, these young men experienced the power and beauty of collective singing.
A special highlight of the day was a performance by Parkside Harmony, who earned 4th place at the international barbershop competition this past summer – an incredible honor!
