Eight SGAHS Students Qualify for 2025 PMEA District 7 Modern Band Festival

Spring Grove Area High School is proud to announce that eight of its music students have qualified for the 2025 PMEA District 7 Modern Band Festival. Out of just 35 available spots, these talented students secured eight, a remarkable achievement that highlights their dedication and skill in modern music performance.

The PMEA District 7 Modern Band Festival will take place on April 4th and 5th at Lampeter-Strasburg High School, culminating in an afternoon concert on April 5th. This festival brings together some of the most talented high school musicians in the region to collaborate, perform, and enhance their musicianship.

Spring Grove's 2025 PMEA Modern Band Festival Qualifiers:

• Addison Buffalow – Vocals
• Hans Livelsberger – Drums
• Raegan Shrader – Vocals
• Reese Sharader – Drums
• Julia Tackett – Keyboards
• Ella Tyson – Vocals

This accomplishment is a testament to the strength of Spring Grove’s music program and the hard work of these dedicated students. Their selection to the festival is an opportunity to further develop their musical abilities and showcase their talents on a larger stage.
