Principal Kelly Peake earns Doctorate Degree

Spring Grove Area School District proudly congratulates Dr. Kelly Peake, Principal of Spring Grove Area Intermediate School, on earning her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University.

Dr. Peake’s dissertation, titled “Daily Number Sense Instruction: Teachers’ Perceptions and Students’ Academic Success,” explored how regularly incorporating number sense instruction into math lessons influences student learning. Her research focused on educators’ perceptions of this daily practice, highlighting both the perceived benefits and challenges, and examined its impact on student achievement in both mathematics and English Language Arts.

This milestone represents Dr. Peake’s ongoing commitment to professional growth and educational leadership. Her research offers a valuable perspective on our efforts to support student growth, and her leadership continues to have a positive impact at SGI and across the district.
