A Special Surprise at New Salem Elementary
New Salem Elementary received a special visit today as Brown’s Orchards stopped by to surprise 1st grade teacher Mrs. Kathy Bowen with their Teacher of the Month award.
Mrs. Bowen was nominated by two of her students, Ashton Madoushek and Jackson Bankert. After reviewing nominations, Brown’s Orchards selected her as this month’s winner in recognition of her dedication and impact in the classroom.
As part of the surprise, Mrs. Bowen was presented with a basket filled with Brown’s Orchards goodies. Her students also joined in the celebration and enjoyed fresh apples provided by the orchard.
The recognition highlights the meaningful connections Mrs. Bowen has built with her students and the positive learning environment she creates each day.
Spring Grove Area School District extends its appreciation to Brown’s Orchards for supporting local educators and celebrating the important work happening in our classrooms.
