SGASD had 13 students between grades 7-12 participate in this year's York County Honors Band Festivals!
The band students worked with Dr. Mark Lortz, Director of Bands at Stevenson University.
The event was part of the Hanover Symphony Orchestra Kids Program.
The designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in providing music access and education to all students.
The Select Strings and Orion performed as part of the National Music In Our Schools Month celebration.

The SGASD Strings Orchestra program celebrated its 50th Anniversary with an extraordinary concert. Students in grades three through twelve in the orchestra program and alumni performed for our Rocket community.
