CLASSIFICATIONS
Class A: This rate applies to nonprofit charitable organizations (Internal Revenue Service 501(c)3 organization) or governmental organizations within the Spring Grove Area School District sponsoring a non-fundraising activity. The rental fees for using facilities may be waived by the Superintendent or his/her designee, including those organizations on the list of exempt organizations annually approved by the Board of School Directors.
Class B: This rate applies to nonprofit charitable organizations or governmental organizations within the Spring Grove Area School District sponsoring a fundraising activity. The rental fees for using facilities may be waived by the Superintendent or his/her designee, including those organizations on the list of exempt organizations annually approved by the Board of School Directors.
Class C: This rate applies to nonprofit, public or private organizations outside the Spring Grove Area School District sponsoring a non-fundraising activity that will benefit the general community. The rental fees for using facilities may be waived by the Superintendent or his/her designee, including those organizations on the list of exempt organizations annually approved by the Board of School Directors.
Class D: This rate applies to nonprofit, public or private organizations outside the Spring Grove Area School District sponsoring a fundraising activity to benefit the general community. The rental fees for using facilities may be waived by the Superintendent or his/her designee, including those organizations on the list of exempt organizations annually approved by the Board of School Directors.

Ball/Athletic Fields at Any Building
$35.00 for the season (A, B & C), if used more than three times during a season; otherwise no charge.
**School-age groups such as Little League (ages 8-12), Baseball for Boys (ages 13-15), Legion Baseball (ages 15-18), scout groups, and church groups are exempt from paying the fee.
Concession stand and attached buildings/facilities, including restrooms, are NOT available for ball field rentals.

Current Billable Event Staff Rates
Buildings
All organizations will assume the cost of having a custodian and/or building supervisor present for use of district facilities outside the designated duty hours as set by the Buildings and Grounds department.
Auditorium
A technician employed by the Spring Grove Area School District must be present to ensure all systems are operated correctly if a group uses sound, lighting or other systems of the school district. Each organization will be required to cover all costs associated with the school district technician.
Kitchen
A trained food service employee must be present to provide general supervision of school equipment. Each organization will be required to cover all costs associated with the district food service supervisor or other food service staff.
