About the Community Events Calendar

Spring Grove Area School District is happy to provide a community calendar with events and happenings from local community groups in accordance with Board Policy 913.3. The Superintendent may, at his/her discretion, announce or authorize to be announced community activity of particular educational merit. As a courtesy, the district will share such events electronically through this web page. The appearance of these events does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of the event or community organization. They are provided simply as a community service.

New Format: Events Calendar

In order to follow federal accessibility guidelines and ensure our website is usable by all individuals, including those with visual, auditory, and other disabilities, SGASD has transitioned from a Community Flyers page to a Community Events Calendar format. This change aligns with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and recent guidance from the U.S. Department of Justice that requires public schools to ensure their websites and digital content meet accessibility standards. This change helps ensure that screen readers and assistive technologies can access and interpret event information, making it available to all members of our community.

Submit a Community Event

Local organizations can now submit events directly by following the directions below. All submissions will be reviewed by the Community Relations Office to ensure compliance with district policy. The Community Relations Office reserves the right to edit or decline to post an event.

Local organizations are welcome to submit events directly to our calendar by following the instructions provided below. It’s a quick and simple process designed to make your event accessible and visible to SGASD families and the broader community.
