Our Commitment

Spring Grove Area School District is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors, including individuals with disabilities. We want everyone who visits our website to feel welcome, easily find the information they need, and enjoy a positive user experience.

We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA  standards developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of abilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Accessibility Tools and Continuous Improvement

To help us identify and correct accessibility issues, we use AudioEye, a third-party digital accessibility platform. AudioEye provides ongoing automated testing and remediation, as well as an Accessibility Toolbar available on every page. Visitors can use the toolbar to customize visual settings, activate screen reader optimization, and access other assistive features.

Our website is regularly reviewed through both automated and manual testing to maintain accessibility and usability for all users.

Translation Support

For visitors whose primary language is not English, our website includes a Google Translate tool located at the top left of every page. This tool allows users to translate page content into multiple languages. Please note that Google Translate is a third-party service, and automated translations may not always be exact.

Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our website is designed to support many commonly used assistive technologies and tools. Finalsite, our website provider, supports JAWS (with Chrome on Windows) and VoiceOver (with Safari on Mac) in its internal user interface and offers keyboard navigation features. While we strive to support these and other assistive tools on the public-facing site, compatibility may vary depending on content, browser, or device.
