2024 Board Survey Result Summaries
General Overview
The 2024 survey results reflect both areas of progress and ongoing opportunities for growth across the Spring Grove Area School District, with both parents and staff showing increased satisfaction in several areas. Strong improvements in staff response rates and parent feedback highlight the district’s continued efforts to create a positive, supportive environment for both students and employees. Across all three surveys, there were gains in areas such as schools' having a supportive and inviting environment for staff and students, quality of instruction, and responsiveness to individual needs and concerns. We are proud of the progress made and remain committed to further strengthening our school community.

Staff Survey Results
General Information
- The survey was open from March 1 - 15, 2024.
- 329 responses out of 507 total staff: 65% response rate (+29% increase from 2023)
The staff survey saw a significant rise in response rates, reaching 65%, with consistent improvements in positivity across multiple categories. Areas such as teamwork, professional development, and overall morale showed marked progress compared to previous years. This steady increase in positive responses since the surveys began reflects the district’s commitment to creating a supportive work environment.
However, some of the negative feedback, particularly regarding student behavior, workload, and administrative support, mirrors national trends in education. These concerns are not unique to Spring Grove, as educators across the country are experiencing similar challenges. While we recognize these broader issues, the district remains dedicated to addressing them at the local level and supporting our staff in their essential roles.
