    ENTREPRENEURSHIP

     

    Grades 9, 10, 11, 12                                         

    1 semester             .50 credit                 6 pds/cycle

    Students will learn the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs and the steps needed to start their own businesses.  Areas of concentration will include creating a business plan; financing a business; hiring employees; and marketing for a new business operating as a sole proprietorship, partnership, or limited liability corporation. 

    Prerequisites:  Successful completion of Business I (or Basic Business Concepts)
