4th Annual Backpack Slinger

Benefits the Spring Grove Backpack Program and brought to you by the SGAHS Sports & Entertainment Marketing Class

Spring Grove Area Middle School Counselor, Teresa Weaver, began the Backpack Program to address student hunger and help families in the District. In doing so, she's also helping to further the District's mission of providing a learning environment where every student can attain their full potential. Knowing the Backpack Program is available, students can focus on learning instead of worrying about their next meal.

Funds and food items from this event will benefit the SGASD Backpack Program.

This event sold out last year. Space is limited.

Date: Saturday, April 29, 2023  |  Registration 12:30  |  Shotgun Start 1:30

Format: 18 Hole Scramble, 4-Player Team (Men, Ladies, and Mixed)

Where: Hanover Country Club, Abbottstown, PA

Entry Fee:

• $320 per team, $80 for individual golfers
• Must bring eight non-perishable breakfast items PER TEAM (oatmeal, single-serving cereals, puddings, etc.)

Entry Includes: 

• Golf, prizes, range balls, snacks, beverages, and dinner.
• After golf, we will finish off this great evening with a juicy, delicious HCC burger, along with onion rings and extras.
