- We have developed a new series entitled Spartan Speaks. The series is composed of 18 content-based presentations by our faculty and will air every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. beginning Thursday, February 18 and runs through April 20. We are inviting prospective students and families, high school classes, community members, and alumni to join us on Zoom for these wonderful presentations covering a full range of interesting and engaging topics. Each session will also include an interactive Q&A session with our presenters.
- We offer the Understanding College programs, and the next session is on Wednesday, February 24th, at 7:00 p.m. This program focuses on "academic possibilities" and is geared to help high school sophomores and juniors as they consider programs of interest in college. We have more than 300 students already signed up for the program, and this is a great program to assist students in considering the academic opportunities ahead. The final Understanding College program, "For Parents Only," is on Wednesday, March 10, at 7:00 p.m. We have more than 130 parents registered. Both are excellent events!
