TITLE IX COMPLIANCE
The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) enforces, among other statutes, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Title IX protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance. Title IX states:
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
Filing a Title IX Complaint

The District has designated the individuals below as the Title IX Coordinator / Compliance Officer to oversee compliance efforts and investigate any complaints of sex discrimination. To file a complaint, please complete and submit the Report Form for Complaints of Discrimination as indicated below.
- For a complaint affecting a student, submit the report form to the Assistant Superintendent.
- For a complaint affecting a student with a qualified disability, submit the report form to the Director of Pupil Services.
- For a complaint affecting district staff, submit the report form to the Director of Human Resources.
- For a complaint affecting a student, submit the report form to the Assistant Superintendent.
