• 5th Grade (2nd Year) and 6th Grade (3rd Year) Band at SGI!
(New students may still join. Please see the 4th Grade Band Page for sign up information.)

Students meet for one, forty minute instructional slot per cycle to work in small groups lessons.
Band sectional lessons occur on Day 1 (Flutes, Oboes, Clarinets and Saxophones), Day 3 (Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone and Tuba) and Day 5 (Percussion).

Band Rehearsals occur on the following Days:
    Day 1: Percussion Only
Day 3: Woodwinds and Brass Only
    Day 5: All students.

These sessions will begin in early September and schedules will be posted at school and made available via Google Classroom. Lesson assignments will be available on the "Lesson Assignments" tab to the left. This also contains information for the next lesson date and time.

Please encourage all band students to remember their instruments and music for each lesson rehearsal. I would like all band members to report to each required rehearsal even if they forget their instruments or music – this way I can distribute information, make announcements and teach new concepts with all members present.
