Purchasing and BiddingThe District uses a number of methods for the procurement of products and services in support of the instructional programs in the schools.
Occasionally, the District will seek bids and proposals through a formal Request-For-Proposal (RFP) or a Solicitation for Bids process. These requests will be posted on this web site and, when required, advertised in the local newspaper(s).
Note: the District has been granted a waiver by PDE from the requirement to advertise in the newspaper publications; the only advertisement for requests for proposals/bids will be posted on this web page.RFPs AND BIDSListed below are active requests for proposals or bids. PUPIL TRANSPORTATION:Qualified firms are invited to submit a proposal for pupil transportation services to be provided to the Spring Grove Area School District for a period of five years beginning with the July 1, 2021 school year. For more details and instructions on submitting proposals, please download the documents below. Interested firms are encouraged to review ALL the documents, including those posted after the November Contractors' Pre Quote Conference. Additionally, we encourage interested firms to contact Lori Stine or Mark Czapp to note they are considering the submission of a proposal.
