The Spring Grove Area School District levies a real estate tax on taxable properties in the district. The school district real estate tax bill is mailed to property owners on or about July 15 of each year and covers the fiscal year from July 1 through June 30.

Effective with the 2012-13 fiscal year, all parcels are eligible for installment payment of the district real estate taxes.
Effective with the 2011-12 fiscal year, the district no longer levies the per capita and occupation taxes.
