Keeping in touch with YOU is very important to us. Whether it’s a weather related schedule change,
or an emergency situation, we know that parents need pertinent information as soon as possible.
To help us reach you in an expedient manner, the District recently installed a computerized system that allows
school administrators to promptly call every student and staff member in the event of an emergency.
Our automated messaging system is a state-of-the-art voice over Internet technology that allows the
district to reach thousands of families by telephone in minutes.
With the use of this system, we can send a recorded message to hundreds of phone numbers in as little as fifteen minutes; the thousands of numbers in our database requires about 30 minutes to complete.
Please make sure the district has TWO numbers to reach you in case of an emergency, by completing the
Student Emergency Record.
