| Chapter 15 - Protected Handicapped | Chapter 15 guidelines allow for the provisions of aids, services or accommodations, which are needed to afford the student equal opportunities to participate in and obtain the benefits of the school program for a "Protected Handicapped Student" | Pupil Services Office |
| Chapter 16 - Gifted | Gifted Support provides instruction for students with outstanding intellectual abilities according to the individual student's IEP. | Building Principal |
| Dental Hygiene | The Dental Hygiene program provides practical and educational opportunities in the dental health areas so that students can learn how to achieve better oral hygiene. | Pupil Services Office |
| Emotional Support | The Emotional Support program includes the provision of emotional support teachers, related services, supervision, curriculum, and program evaluation according to student IEPs and State/Federal Regulations. | Building Principal Pupil Services Office |
| English Language Learner | The English Language Learner program provides support for those students whose native language is not English. | Academic Services Coordinator |
| Extended School Year | Extended School Year provides services beyond the regular school year to Special Education students whose regressions are eligible according to State Standards. the program involves students attending classroom support services and itinerant services to maintain skills during periods when school is typically not in session. | Building Principal Special Education Supervisor |
| School Counseling | The School Counseling program is designed to assist students in identifying options and making appropriate choices in vocational and academic planning and to assist students in learning to make their own decisions and solve problems independently. | Counseling Office |
| Homebound Instruction | Individual instruction is provided to students confined to home or hospital for physical disability, illness, or injury, or when such confinement is recommended for psychological or psychiatric reasons. | Building Principal Counseling Office |
| Instructional Support (IST) | The Instructional Support program is designed to assist at-risk students in improving success in the regular classroom, while at the same time serving as a screening process for students who may be in need of special education services. | Counseling Office: High School, Middle School, & Intermediate School Instructional Support Teacher: Elementary Schools |
| Psychological Services | Psychological services provides psychological testing to students to assist in determining the most appropriate educational placement. | Building Principal Pupil Services Office |
| School-Based Probation | The York County Probation Office directs this program. An officer is assigned to provide on-site supervision and immediate intervention to students under court jurisdiction. The district provides a workspace for the School Based Probation Officer. | School Based Probation Officer |
| School Nurse Services | School Nursing Services promote lifelong, healthful living through health promotions, correction of health problems and education to help children achieve optimum health. Services include height/weight check, hearing evaluation, and scoliosis testing, to name a few. | Nurses Office at all schools |
| Student Assistance Program (SAP) | The Student Assistance Program is designed to assist at-risk students who are experiencing difficulties in school that may be a result of substance abuse and/or mental health problems. | Counseling Office Building Principal |
| Transportation Services | Transportation services provides transportation for children to and from school. | Transportation Coordinator |
| Vocational Education | The Vocational Education program is designed to assist an individual in effectively pursuing skills for entering a career immediately upon exiting school.
